The story of SophCrafts
Our Story
For as long as I can remember I have been sewing and creating; I studied art and textiles at GCSE and A level and then went on to do a foundation diploma in costume design at LCA. I then studied children's nursing at university and I now work as a children's nurse while sewing as a hobby that brings me joy.
SophCrafts started December 2021 making small art bears for my loved ones. Making art bears for loved ones turned into making them to sell - over time this turned into making plushies and here we are! My focus has always been making items that bring people comfort and joy.
Everything i make is designed by me and made by me in my little home craft studio. I use a mixture of machine embroidery, machine sewing and hand sewing to create items from luxury plush materials.
